Go to their website and read some of the articles/white papers on how they rate the speakers.

The rating is EIA standard using pink noise for 8 hours at the given wattage, IF I recall correctly. Then they state that you should match your power amp wattage to that. Then in another article, they admit that most operators double that with no ill effects. SOoooo, think HEAVEY DUTY continuous rating for comparision, and then feel free to trust the EAW with amps from the rated spec to double the rated spec. IMHO

: I'm looking at different models of speaker systems. Most companies use standard specs for their systems. EAW just uses "Power Handling". What does that mean compaired to other manufacturers RMS, Peak etc. specs.
