Well, the timing sort of fell in my lap. I just happened to spring for CE 2k just before the nice upgrade offer.

I have been researching a lot of purchases recently. Between some cabling and tools for gigging, a "new" o-scope, Sensaphonic custom plugs, and this software upgrade, I've spent my extra money for the semester and then some!

All that at a time where I have basically no audio on my plate (PhD quals this semester). Investment for later, hopefully, or perhaps rebellion against quals! Not sure how Sebas manages to do both all the time.

This remains my achilles heel, not enough recent "trench time" to be really quick at bringing things up. Give me a 15 piece Salsa act right now, though, and I am sure I would make a big mess of it.

My recent gigs have been of the style "we're scared of our new giant install board." The gigs are easy, just the client is not good with their equipment.

Something to be dealt with down the road, as the books are calling...
