Hi Kurt,

If you are don't have a spare Aux send you can also use a group to get there, that's what I do.

Just assign the channels you want in the subs to both the mains and a dedicated subs group and use the group output to drive the sub amp. Don't assign the sub group to the mains or you will be doubling up those channels in the mains. Only gotcha to using aux fed subs is you really need to have three inputs on your crossover (or two crossovers) if you are running stereo mains (since you will still want to HP the Mains and LP the subs).

: The 2200 auxes are grouped 1-4 switchable, and 5-6 switchable. There is an internal option that allows me to hardwire each aux pre/post. I think I'll hardware 1-3 pre-fader for monitor sends, and let aux 4 be switchable pre/post, and use it for the sub send.

: I did an XLT46/55 demo and decided that a single stack per side wouldn't cut it. I couldn't afford dual stacks at the time, so I opted for the Yorkville stuff.

: I thought the XLT sounded good, but it was really short. I would have had to build some "sub tubs" to get the highs up above people's heads.

: It's good to hear from Cam. I hope to get down there soon.

: Regards,
: Kurt
