From the world of wedding band and corporate audio I'll relay a couple of incidents that happened out in the audience while the band was playing. It should be noted that all of the incidents happened as a result of severe intoxication.
1. Wedding at one of our upscale country clubs, the groomsmen get ahold of 5 golf carts and stage a Grand Prix out on the golf course tearing up 3 greens and ripping the axel out of one of the golf carts. And this before the country club was to host a major tournament the next week.
2 Another wedding. Show had gone well, and I was packing up at the end of the night when the security guard comes up to me and several of the wait staff and asks if we would like to see something funny. He directs us over to the window overlooking the pool,and proceeds to turn on the floodlights and there in living color is the bride, the bridesmaids, and the brides mother skinny-dipping in the pool. A sight none of us will ever forget.
3. Corperate christmas party, I come back from a break to find some drunk chick "servicing" her boyfriend under my console. She looks up says "you won't look will you?" and kept right on going. Ever try to mix a band with that going on under your console??? Made for an interesting night.
