Besides taking screenshots of the really poor performers' SmaartLive transfer functions and inaccurate ISO centers what other kinds of torture tests can you suggest? How about the IMD ITU-R Intermodulation test where a 19kHz and a 20kHz tone are fed to a device and the product is examined for 1khz difference tones and other noise? I don't think a laptop running SmaartLive will give as accurate a result as lab-quality test gear. And how do I make sure my sound generator (a CD player) is putting out a clean 19 and 20k that's completely free of 1kHz? Ah, I could use the help of an experienced bench guy (plus all his toys...)
