I've always wondered why a mfr never implemented a graphic wherein the ISO centers were sweepable to a degree.

Something like the old Orban Paragraph? ;-) It was a parametric, but the cut and boost were on faders as opposed to knobs.

I don't think we'll see traditional graphics disappear anytime soon though I think these days it's a pretty crude tool.
