EQ shoot .. dig vs analog

I think if we are gonna compare analog units and digital units, especially in the monitor chain, we will need to be able to add some time delay to the analog ones just to make it fair. I'm convinced that adding a few ms delay greatly aids in fighting feedback. Of course you'll need to guarantee that the delay doesn't color the sound of the analog units.

Ideas anyone?
